REO Classics Band feat. Terry Lutrell - Recorded Live At Shock City Studios 2024

"Record Live At The Studio" means that the REO Classics Band, consisting of singer Terry Lutrell (1st singer of REO SPEEDWAGON) and drummer Michael Mesey (HEAD EAST, among others), recorded all seven songs in the studio without overdubs and in just one day. The idea for this album came about during a jam session at the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Red Lion Bar in Champaign, IL - the place where REO Speedwagon's career began. Five of them were originally released in 1971 on the debut "REO Speedwagon"; "Golden Country" comes from "T.w.o." (1972). Great songs that have been somewhat lost due to the later worldwide hits - but they are still absolutely marvellous and are authentically presented here! (BS)
