Brunette - Rough Demos (CD)

BRUNETTE were the first band of exceptional singer Johnny Gioeli (Hardline, Axel Rudi Pell) to attract a lot of attention in the late 1980s/early 1990s. Dusty in the archives for many years, FnA took the available material in 2013 and released two albums with the demos of the formation around the Gioeli brothers. The rating refers to the songs and the class of the band, as the sound is mediocre - it's unbelievable that Brunette were never able to get a record deal during their lifetime and before Hardline, they put almost all other Hairspray LA bands of the time in the shade with, for example, ‘Killer In Heels’ and ‘Hot Cherie’, which was later made famous by Hardline!
